Guarantees (refund & replacement)
All machinery has different electrical characteristics and some wind and water turbines or phase converter types are more suitable for some combinations of machinery than other phase converter types. Similarly even though the nameplate power, speed, and voltage ratings may appear the same on the machinery as on the phase converter or load they may not always be compatible. At Boost / Ampair we will use the information you give us to identify the phase converter or renewable energy system that it is most suitable. However in the event that a machine does not operate satisfactorily in conjunction with a Boost converter or Ampair renewable energy system we offer a money back guarantee.
Boost offers a 28-day money back guarantee on any standard stock phase converter specified by Boost provided that the unit is returned to Boost in a state fit for resale. Alternatively we would accept the unit in exchange for a more suitable unit.
We reserve the right to determine what is a condition fit for resale, and to charge for any repairs or reconditioning necessary to restore a unit to a saleable condition. Carriage costs are for the customer account. This guarantee is conditional on the customer having correctly described the usage pattern.
BoosterTM converters are covered by a 36-month free parts & labour warranty against faulty manufacture. AmpairTM turbines are covered by a 12-month free parts & labour warranty aganst faulty manufacture, or a 24-months free parts & labour warranty if supplied as a Clear Skies package installed by an Ampair authorised installer.
We reserve the right to determine what failures are due to faulty manufacture. This element of the guarantee applies to the initial end user or to any subsequent end user who has contacted Boost/Ampair to confirm suitability prior to commencing use. Carriage of parts is for customer account. Other products have different warranty periods as described in the product details for each item.
Boost will match any genuine quotation for a comparable converter.
We reserve the right to determine what is a comparable converter and what is a genuine quotation. We will match the product price excluding the carriage cost.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Cancellation
Orders of standard items which are being shipped from stock may be cancelled up to the time of despatch upon payment of a £50 fee. Orders of non-standard or non-stock items will incur a penalty of 35% of the price if cancelled up to a week before shipment, or 50% of the price if cancelled less than a week before shipment. Orders may not be cancelled after shipment.

Delivery
UK carriage prices shown are for mainland UK. If you want carriage prices for other destinations in the UK or worldwide then please contact us. Alternatively fill in an online order and before you pay you will see the cost of the different delivery options. If you want delivery to a location not shown on-line or are seeking a slower/faster/cheaper service than shown please contact us as we can arrange almost anything. We do not aim to make money on transportation and simply pass it on as a cost in these circumstances.
Boost and Ampair prices are on an ex-works basis + carriage costs. This means damage during transit is for customer liability. Goods are insured with our carriers during transit where shown but it is the customer responsibility to identify any damage immediately upon receipt and notify both Boost/Ampair and the carrier at once. In this way Boost/Ampair can file an insurance claim and pass on the benefit to the customer in the form of repaired/replaced goods. If you are unable to view the goods when taking receipt from the carrier then you must sign the carrier receipt as unexamined. Any other signature will void the insurance.
Credit / debit card surcharge
We charge 2.5% for accepting credit cards (e.g. American Express, Visa, Mastercard). We make no charge for accepting debit cards (e.g. Maestro, Switch).
Currency
Unless otherwise agreed all transactions are in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices are shown in other currencies for information only.
Bank transfers
If making an international bank transfer to us then the sender must pay the sender fees. Details of our £ (GBP) bank account is on our contact us page. We also have a € (EUR) bank account if you wish to transfer in € and avoid exchange rate charges.
Continuous improvement policy
At Boost/Ampair we are always seeking to improve our products and services and so we reserve the right to update specifications without warning. Equally if you have any suggestions for how we can improve please contact us.
Liability
Boost/Ampair cannot be held responsible for any death or injury, or loss or damage to equipment, products and production, or personnel resulting from the use of our products and services whether on their own or in conjunction with any other equipment or service.
Export restrictions
Boost/Ampair products are not subject to any known export restrictions, however we will comply with any export restrictions which do apply.
Privacy Policy
Boost/Ampair will not disclose client information to any other individual or organisation unless required to do so by law, or unless it is necessary to do so to validate payment. We do not conduct direct marketing campaigns. We store client information securely so that we can provide a quality after sale service. If you want us to remove your information from our files please contact us and we will do so insofar as the law permits.
Our website places a small cookie on your computer in order to provide you with relevant information such as presenting you with your preferred language, currency, or keeping track of any items in your shopping cart. This cookie is harmless and you may remove it or block it if you wish (look in your internet browser help section for guidance on how to block a cookie).
Language & Law
The master language of this website is in english and in case of difference between english and other languages the english version is correct. Transactions carried out with Boost/Ampair are subject to English law.
Severability
If any provision of this Contract is held unenforceable, then such provision will be modified to reflect the parties’ intention. All remaining provisions of this Contract shall remain in full force and effect.
