Single phase to three-phase conversion (3 phase converters)
Phase converters (also spelt three phase convertors or misnamed 3 phase transformers) provide single to 3-phase conversion. Since before 1957 Boost's range of quality rotary and static phase converters have been providing thousands of farms, workshops, garages, equipment manufacturers, and hobbyists with 3-phase power where either the site lacks 3-phase supply or, within large buildings, where all 3 phases are not close to the equipment location. Static phase converters are best suited to light duty single motor applications whilst rotary phase converters are best suited to multiple load configurations. Boost is a highly successful fifty year old manufacturing company that has just expanded premises to keep up with demand.
Boost's range of phase converters will supply a number and variety of loads at full performance. Boost's comprehensive range includes both static and rotary converters from ¼ HP to 60 HP (0.2 kW to 48 kW) all built to high quality standards and backed by a comprehensive pre and post sales service and our guarantees. We can supply phase converters to transform from 110 / 220-240 / 480 V single or double phase to 220-240V / 380-415 V three phase. The output frequency is always the same as the input frequency: 47-63 Hz. We will consider building any special units such as to odd voltages (e.g. 48 V phase converters). On this site you will find a complete list of standard rotary converters supplied as a complete kit for installation by a user, a competent industrial electrician or electrical engineer.
