It is anticipated that the Ampair 600 will comply with the Generally Permitted Development Order (GPDO) for wind turbines which is currently being drafted and which is expected to become law in the beginning of 2007. This is the enabling legislation following from the Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Bill, sponsored by Mark Lazarowicz MP.
If you have neighbouring buildings close to your turbine, please note that Ampair is renowned to build the quietest turbines in the industry. The Ampair 600 produces a broad spectrum of background white noise, with no irritating ‘tones’ or any mechanical sounds. In low winds, the turbine is virtually inaudible. And in high winds, the minimal noise of the turbine is masked by the noise of the wind itself, rustling leaves and so on.
