Because Boost Energy Systems has been manufacturing its own electrical equipment for fifty years we know a good sine wave inverter when we see one. We have chosen to stock two manufacturer's sine wave inverters - ASP of Switzerland and Victron of the Netherlands.
Smaller inverters are ideal for mobile applications such as vehicles, caravans, boats, and base camps (we've used them when climbing on K2 and Everest). Larger inverters are designed for substantial vessels and buildings. Sine wave inverters are typically integrated into solar power, wind energy, or UPS systems. They are very different to the sort of inverters used in motor drives which can confuse some of our clients since we serve both markets - just contact us if you want to know more. All prices refer to 220-240 Volt x 50 Hz output voltages (i.e. standard UK and continental European electrical supply) but we also offer 110 Volt x 60 Hz models at similar prices for areas such as North America. The smaller inverters are generally used in 'islanded' mode, i.e. not connected to the electricity grid whilst the larger inverters can switch between islanded and grid-connected modes so as to act as the local hub of distributed generation and UPS systems.
We aim to hold all models in stock and so can despatch for next day delivery the mainland British Isles, or 2-3 day delivery in the continental EU (Malta, Cyprus, and the Spanish islands take a little longer) or further afield.
Further down you will find a range of battery chargers (rectifiers) and we also offer solar panels, thermal electric generators, and small wind turbines if required. It is normally more cost-effective and environmentally sensible to purchase battery banks locally (we aim to minimise transportation of heavy items). We can offer advice on selecting suitable components and integrating them into a system - just contact us.

Basic Combination Battery Chargers & Sine Wave Inverters
The items below are extremely capable combination sine wave inverters and battery chargers. These are a much more advanced than the sort of device used to top up a car battery - they are sophisticated battery management devices which also function as the hub of a power system and are able to switch seamlessly between grid-connected and stand-alone (islanded) modes as well as featuring many other useful functions.
