These larger Boosters are probably the best rotary phase converters of their class in the world. They feature asymmetric neutrals as a standard (and we can offer symmetric neutrals if necessary), offer 600% x 10 second overload capability, are rated for continuous use, and are ready to go 'out of the box' . The motor is mounted behind the cabinet on antivibration mounts to reduce noise. The cabinet door includes a lockable single phase isolator and a motor/starter and there are no other user controls. On the side is a handy 415V x 5 pin socket and the 220/240V cable inlet and 415V cable outlet glands. This means reduced installation times as no additional switchgear is required. They feature electrically noiseless sealed solid state electronic switching so swarf or debris cannot affect the converter, and so the converter will not create electrical interference. They will run high speed 4250 rpm CNC machinery, welders, heaters and just about anything else within their power rating.
Split phase (480V) units are available for customers with split phase supplies.
